RACING TEAM

We are proud of our long-standing partnership with one of the most successful UCI teams ever, the GHOST FACTORY RACING TEAM. The team, led by Anne Terpstra, Caroline Bohè, Nicole Koller, Finja Lipp and Isla Short, is riding to one success after another.   

The 2024 season was particularly successful. Anne Terpstra and Nicole Koller won the legendary CAPE EPIC stage race in spectacular fashion. In the fall, Anne Terpstra became Vice World Champion in Cross Country. It is her second World Championship silver medal in XCO. The team rides with our BITURBO Wheels.

KAI SAALER,
ULTRABIKER

No challenge is too great for the ultrabiker. Kai loves 24-hour races. He was world and European champion and won the legendary 24-hour race in Finale Ligure, Italy. In 2019, he rode 17,391 meters of elevation in 24 hours. But his toughest challenge was his “Severest” project: 7 times the height of Mount Everest. More than 62,100 meters of elevation in one week. A charity event for those affected by autoimmune diseases and a record for the Guinness Book. Kai rides a super-light Stoll S1, produced in our factory in Veitshöchheim, with BITURBO aero wheels.

His custom projects are not just unique. They are spectacular. 220,000 people follow gearhead icon Dangerholm on Instagram. There's a reason for that. The Swede's dream builds are visual and technical masterpieces. Magazines and websites around the world report on them. We are happy to be part of his projects.

ANDREAS TONELLI,
EXTREMBIKER

Man vs. mountain: Few bikers take their duels to the extremes that Andreas Tonelli does. As a bike guide, Andreas knows every trail in the Alps. Routes that seem unconquerable hold a special appeal for him. If need be, Andreas will carry his enduro bike for hours up remote summits, only to show off his brilliant downhill riding technique. His toughest challenge was to circle the Ortler massif in one day. Normally, enduro bikers need four days for this hardcore tour across five passes. Andreas and his friend Franz Hofer managed it in 19 hours. Andreas is the perfect tester for us. He rides a Last Tarvo (produced in our factory) with THREE ZERO EN Wheels and our THE UNIT cockpit.

JEROEN VAN ECK, WELTMEISTER CROSS COUNTRY-ELIMINATOR

Maximum pedal pressure, full concentration and excellent riding technique: in the cross country eliminator, everything has to be just right. And right on time. Jeroen van Eck from the Netherlands, riding for Ghost Factory Racing Team, is the reigning world champion in this spectacular discipline. For him, the material plays a crucial role. Our BITURBO RS are stiff and light. They carried Jeroen to the world championship title. We are proud of that. Jeroen will continue to rely on the BITURBO RS in the 2025 season.

SHERRY CARDONA, ULTRABIKERIN

There are mountain bike races where the aim is to achieve a good placing. And there are mountain bike races where the aim is to survive. Sherry Cardona loves extreme challenges and ultra-races. In the TRANSIBERIA she rode 3600 kilometers and 50,000 meters of elevation. In non-stop mode. Because the time limit for this race was just 15 days. The next big challenge for Sherry: the legendary ATLAS MOUNTAIN RACE in Morocco. 1300 kilometers and 30,000 meters of elevation. Non-stop, of course.
