The first survey results

Blog [EN]

Wow, we are thrilled. The response to our first surveys was huge. Both in the comment columns and by email. Hundreds of people took part in the surveys. We want to know how you envision the ultimate gravel bike. What character should the bike have? Which technical details are important to you? We have now analyzed the feedback from the first three surveys. Here are the results.

Race, Endurance and Adventure?

The area of use: Race, Endurance or Bikepacking/Adventure?

PLACE 3: Bikepacking/Adventure category. Only one percent voted for this category. Okay, even the name THE SUPERFAST wouldn't really fit a bike that stands for the opposite of stress and hectic. Namely for consciously slow down and exploring landscapes. We think bikepacking is great. But in this survey, very few people voted for this category.

PLACE 2: Endurance category. A bike that can do everything pretty well, but nothing perfectly. That's exactly what makes it perfect. These are called endurance bikes, or all-roaders. Their strength is their wide range of use. However, they are too good-natured for racing and too much of a sports machine for epic bikepacking adventures. 28 percent voted for this category.

PLACE 1: Race category. The result is clear. Most of you (71 percent) want a bike that is as fast and light as possible. Aggressive geometry, no frills. These are the characteristics of the race gravel bikes used in UCI races, among others. And the project name fits perfectly. So, one thing is certain: THE SUPERFAST will be a uncompromising race gravel bike.

Storage box: yes or no?

The result was clear. 78 percent of you would like an integrated storage box. Only 22 percent would like a frame without a storage box and want to carry tools and spare tubes in the saddle bag.

Cable routing: integrated or external?

Integrated cables mean more effort for servicing. But it looks fantastic. 70 percent voted for a maximally clean look, i.e. integrated cable routing. 30 percent would prefer external cable routing.

Many thanks to everyone who gave us their input. We still have more questions. They will follow shortly. Keep voting. We look forward to your comments.
