The seat clamp: A small part on the bike, but it has a big influence on the look and function. There are two types. The classic clamp. And the integrated clamp, which is part of the frame. On many bikes, it is so discreet that it is not visible at first glance.

There are pros and cons for both types of clamp. Weight is usually not an issue. The use of carbon and titanium also makes classic clamps ultra-light. It's almost always about the look. And the function.
It is by no means the case that a classic clamp has to be ugly. Many manufacturers of custom accessories have beautiful clamps in their range. Even headset specialist Chris King has just presented its own fetishistically crafted seat post clamp. Like many other brands, these are available in a wide range of colors. This provides an elegant accent at the transition between the seat tube and seat post. The classic seat post clamp is also practical. It is always easy to reach with a tool. That's why this type of clamp has many fans, even in times of full integration.

The integrated seat clamp is as discreet as possible. Some manufacturers have very good solutions. Sometimes, however, the screw is so hidden that you can hardly reach it with a tool. The cost of producing frames with integrated seat clamps is higher. This often makes the frames more expensive. But it also looks first class.

We are open to both versions. What would you like?
