Eurobike Award
The Eurobike Award is to the bicycle industry what the Oscars are to the film industry: an award for outstanding achievement. Building a special gravel bike was the basic idea behind THE SUPERFAST project.
However, we did not expect to be the winner of this prestigious award in the Bike category. Eurobike in Frankfurt am Main is the most important and largest trade fair in the industry. Company representatives, media people, and trade visitors crowded in front of the stage to celebrate the winners in the various categories. What a moment!
„THE SUPERFAST is a state-of-the-art piece, a bold statement. Bikes like this drive the industry forward,”, said the jury statement. A great honor. It doesn't get any better than this.
This would have been the perfect opportunity to pop open a bottle of champagne. Unfortunately, there wasn't a bottle in sight. Never mind, we toasted with whatever drinks we could find at the award buffet, which had already been almost completely plundered. There are moments that are so grand and glamorous that you never forget them, even without champagne.
