Motivated by the great response to our first surveys, our engineer Tim has already put the first pencil sketches on paper. He doesn't usually do that. He usually draws on the computer. But Tim can hardly wait to get started. Everything is still open. There are still many details to be clarified with you. In two or three weeks, we'll know what THE SUPERFAST will look like. And then?

The rough timetable for our big project is already in place. Regardless of what the frame will look like. THE SUPERFAST should be ready to go by summer 2025. The individual steps are to be implemented in these stages.

Design/CAD model: In December, the frame, fork and cockpit will take shape. Initially as computer graphics.

3D models: Thanks to the latest 3D printing technology, which we can use directly in-house, the design sketches immediately become real models. Form and function can thus be optimally assessed.

Mold making: Once everything is perfectly designed, the molds for laminating are produced. Our mold maker has his production facility not far from our factory. According to the plan, the molds will be ready in February 2025.

Layup development/prototypes: A carbon component is highly complex and consists of various pieces of carbon, called layups. These have to be placed precisely in the molds. This means a separate development process, at the end of which the first prototypes are expected to be ready in April 2025.

Test phase: We have a lot of experience in building carbon parts. Nevertheless, the test phase is always an important process. On our in-house test benches, we test the performance, i.e. the stiffness (flex) and the strength (failure test). The standard tests are then carried out at the testing institute (failure test). The practical tests by our test drivers, who covered thousands of kilometers with the prototypes, are also essential. In constant communication with our engineers.

Preparation for production: In order to start series production, the cutter for the layups must be programmed and the laminating staff instructed. This is also a complex process, but the plan is for it to be completed in May 2025.
