With the enormously positive feedback on the first generation of the THREE ZERO rim, we quickly received requests from enduro riders to develop this rim for all-mountain and enduro. This wish was our command and we are therefore very proud to be able to offer the THREE ZERO EN wheelset.
The THREE ZERO EN rim impresses with its comfort and robustness at the same time. To make them tougher in contact with rocks or debris, the EN version has a 3K carbon fabric on the sidewalls.
The 30 mm rim, the centrepiece of our THREE ZERO wheelset, does many things differently to conventional rims. The innovative Safe-Wing profile allows the tyre to be perfectly supported, resulting in smooth rolling over the rim sidewall. An advantage that can be experienced directly with low air pressures and wide tyre cross-sections. The tilting of the tyre is minimised to such an extent that the air pressure can be lowered by an average of 0.2 bar without risking smearing or tilting of the carcass. This significantly increases grip, riding safety and comfort.
Particularly noteworthy is the gentle handling of the rim shoulder in relation to the tyre, as the rounded rim flange cannot puncture the tyre carcass in the event of a puncture, as is usually the case with conventional carbon rims.
