We have put a lot of effort into developing our THREE ZERO rim specifically for the XC sector. This means that we were able to achieve a weight saving of over 10% compared to the previous rim, while maintaining the same stability.

The 30 mm rim, the centrepiece of our THREE ZERO wheelset, does many things differently to conventional rims. The innovative Safe-Wing profile allows the tyre to be perfectly supported, resulting in smooth rolling over the rim flank. An advantage that can be experienced directly with low air pressures and wide tyre cross-sections. The tilting of the tyre is minimised to such an extent that the air pressure can be lowered by an average of 0.2 bar without risking smearing or tilting of the carcass. This significantly increases grip, driving safety and comfort.

Particularly noteworthy is the gentle handling of the rim shoulder in relation to the tyre, as the rounded rim flange cannot puncture the tyre carcass in the event of a puncture, as is usually the case with conventional carbon rims.
