BITURBO Edition 15
To celebrate our 15th anniversary, we are introducing the limited-edition BITURBO Edition 15 series in Frozen White and Frozen Bronze.
A high-end bicycle wheel must offer a wide range of features. It must be lightweight yet stable, laterally rigid, and comfortable. Reliability, ease of maintenance, and design are equally important. BITURBO wheels combine all of these qualities. For 15 years, they have stood for design, performance, and uncompromising quality made in Germany. It’s the only wheel you can identify from 100 meters away.
Fifteen years ago, the first BITURBO wheel caused a sensation.
The design and build quality were unique. Today, the six-spoke design — which has been refined year after year — is known worldwide. BITURBO wheels have won the famous Cape Epic mountain bike stage race, as well as gold and silver at the UCI World Championships. Yet Bike Ahead founder Christian Gemperlein had originally built the first BITURBO as a one-off for his thesis project. A wheel, completely reimagined.
The six-spoke monocoque construction gives the BITURBO its distinctive look. But it also offers technical advantages. The carbon layup is precisely optimized for the specific requirements at every point on the wheel. The BITURBO is laterally stiff. At the same time, it filters out fine road vibrations. The quality is outstanding. Every BITURBO is handcrafted at our factory in Würzburg. Production takes two days. The build quality is so exceptional that no paint finish is needed.
The matte, shimmering True Carbon surface is our trademark.
To celebrate our 15th anniversary, we are now presenting — for the first time in our company’s history — a special edition of the BITURBO in color.
Company founder Christian Gemperlein personally selected the exclusive colors for Edition 15. FROZEN WHITE and FROZEN BRONZE captivate with their elegant, matte sheen, reminiscent of frozen surfaces.
The colors are applied by one of Germany’s top bicycle painters. The True Carbon finish shimmers through the Bike Ahead logo. The BITURBO Edition 15 turns any bike into an eye-catcher.
The BITURBO Edition 15 is available for mountain bikes, gravel bikes, and road bikes.
All versions — BITURBO RSX, BITURBO Gravel Aero, and BITURBO Aero 2.0 — are limited to 15 units each.
